Cookie Policy

This policy applies to all pages of the Mozaik web application. Pars Smart (destek@parssmart.com) acts as the data controller. Please also see our Privacy Policy for the general principles governing the processing of data obtained through cookies.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. In addition to cookies, Mozaik also uses local storage (localStorage), which serves the same function. Both technologies are referred to together as "cookies" throughout this policy.

Every cookie and local storage entry Mozaik writes to your device is first-party: created and read only by Mozaik. No advertising cookies, social media trackers, or fingerprinting scripts are used. Fonts are self-hosted. The single exception is the analytics measurement described below, which runs only with your explicit consent.

These cookies are technically required for the application to work as you have requested, and may be used without explicit consent under Article 5/2 of the Turkish Data Protection Law. This category covers records that store your chosen interface language (1 year), your light or dark theme preference, your cookie choice together with the date it was given (6 months), whether you dismissed the "install app" suggestion, and — only if you use the scanner feature — the list of your most recently scanned codes on your device. All of this data is kept solely on your device, is never transmitted to our servers, and is deleted when you clear your browser data.

Mozaik uses analytics measurement to understand which pages are viewed and how often. The measurement is cookieless: no identifier is written to your device and you are not tracked across visits. Only the page viewed, the referring address, and general technical details such as country, operating system, and browser are transmitted anonymously; your IP address is not stored. None of your QR code content, scanned images, or form input is included. The measurement is carried out through a technology service provider whose servers may be located abroad, so the anonymous measurement data may be transferred internationally under applicable law — but only if you give explicit consent. If you decline, the measurement script is never loaded and no data is transmitted or transferred; declining does not affect any functionality of the application.

Non-essential cookies are not placed on your device without your explicit consent, obtained through the cookie notice shown on your first visit. You may withdraw your consent at any time without giving a reason; withdrawal takes effect prospectively.

You can use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer at any time to change your analytics preference. You may also block cookies entirely or delete existing ones through your browser's settings. Please note that if strictly necessary cookies are blocked, some features of the application may not work as expected.

Under Article 11 of the Turkish Data Protection Law you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information if it is, to learn the purpose of processing, to request rectification or erasure, and to object if you believe the processing is unlawful. You may send your requests to destek@parssmart.com; applications are concluded within 30 days at the latest.

This Cookie Policy may be updated in line with changes in legislation or in the application. The current version is always published on this page, and the date at the top of the page indicates when it was last updated.
